From: tell Category: Art Date: 15 June 2007 Time: 05:27 AM Review: It seems strange that Israel is the only (or one of the only) subjects of academic boycott, when other countries operate in flagrant violation of international law and treat their citizens and neighbours with much greater violence and repression. Ok, you say, well two wrongs don't make a right, but why the exceptional focus on Israel. Given antisemitisms long and stubborn hold on the world it doesn't seem quite so absurd to say that it might be a factor in the special attention Israel, the Jewish state, receives.
