When will people understand that bright colours does not 'young' instantly make. Even so, okay if this was a logo to be cool for a week, but its a logo that Londoners, like it or not, will have to live with for the next FIVE YEARS - there the longevity aspect. Note the role of Tate Modern in the promo video, ironic considering what I heard about the Arts Olympiad already funneling arts money across the country into a rather narrow remit. I don’t care about the ‘tax payer’s money’ argument in regards to paying the people who designed the logo, I care about having to live with it for years. I would rather have had a dull business logo that I could quietly dislike but generally ignore.
