Camden Arts Centre is not in Camden, it's on the Finchley Rd, it doesn't do what it says on the tin. I
wonder whether CAC is just a place for North London artists to drink coffee and not feel like they're
too bourgeois or perhaps consumerist. A sort of arty starbucks. They should move the whole damn
thing to Leytonstone and give succour to the arts community there. In Hampstead there are enough
niceeeeeeeeee coffee shops already.

David Thorpe had made some complex, slightly art deco bric-a-brac. I couldn't see the point, it
looked quite pretty and seemed to investigate systems, but otherwise was a dead-end for my little
brain.

Back to Camdens Arts Centre. There is a nice garden for kids to play in on the weekend visits of arty
families and some books and mags for dishevelled dads to browse. Where is the art?
