From: fratz Category: Art Date: 05 April 2007 Time: 04:43 AM Review: "A disquieting, playful, and intensely urban exhibition examining the dark flowering of creativity in the UK between 1978 and 1988." The intensely urban is the worst part of that sentence. The ICA is intensely uncool. We keep seeing the Wolfgang Tillmans photo of some German princess at the Fridge in all the papers, and you think the worship of the artistocracy certainly wasn't rebelled against in that wonderful decade. This is a very poor show. Bits and pieces with nothing arresting, affecting, or majorly radical to see. ICA please try harder. http://www.ica.org.uk/
