From: Remi Category: Music Date: 01 April 2007 Time: 10:51 AM Review: I was using youtube a lot to listen to pop videos, and watch clips from my favourite movies and tv shows, but then I realised it was interfering with my work schedule. So I have taken to plugging into music recitals of yesteryear. I might still do the odd google on pieces, but only if I've been good. I have enjoyed Dvorak cello concerto by Rostropovich, from the 70s/early 80s judging from the haircuts. Also got plenty of thrills out of Pablo Casals, Karajan, Previn and Barenboim. For some reason, composers don't bring up much you have to go for conductors. Plenty of Haifetz too.
