From: blp Category: Art Date: 27 March 2007 Time: 06:37 AM Review: Or maybe just because all the visual art options seem to have been used (up). Bring what on? More of the same? No, I'm not saying we're stuck because we've got rid of God. I'm saying we're stuck because we've got rid of Godard. If I had to be a painter now, I'd be a realist, in the sense that Godard is a realist director, which means acknowledging the reality of your medium in relation to the reality you're trying to capture. I'd expect to make no simple, easily readable statements. I'd daydream a lot.
