From: barker Category: Art Date: 16 February 2007 Time: 07:10 PM Review: michel gondry of eternal sunshine renown writes and directs. not a huge fan of sunshine, really liked this. if i saw on a late night tv, I'd say why dont people make films like this anymore. it's the best Ive seen gael garcia bernal, the ubiquitous short armed actor from mexico, he is funny and real, in this movie, which despite its whimsicality, disconcerts by blurring dreams and narrative, and leaves the head spinning. charlotte gainsbourg looks french and sound very english, sort of, which is also good and weird. recommended.
