The marquis de sade would smile. The chapmans have crafted a menagerie of shitting animals. Carefully constructed out of ping pong balls and other junk. They look quite nice. Somehow you wish they were less well made, less precise, they are not crazy, loony, messy, hard enough. At the heart of the chapmen are hobbyists at heart, not great artists, pace mr searle, clever and nimble, but stuck to their glue and need to show off.
