Review:

This is more than a gym; it also holds a pool, which is very moodily and seductively lit in the evenings,
a sauna and steam room and a jacuzzi. There is, of course, plenty of exercise equipment and
weights. I know gyms are meant to be boring but I love them, they are something of a church for me,
where I can commune with my inner self in all its pagan glory. So far, the sauna is not as chatty as the
Oasis one on Tottenham Court road, but these are early days. As long as I don't have to initiate the
chit-chat, that's hunky-dory. The highlight of the ensemble? A sailing simulator which you straddle and
work your forearms in a grinding fashion. Why? It reminds me of one my fav films, U-571, dive dive
dive!
