Review:

Fabrizio's is on the corner of Leather Lane, near Chancery Lane tube.

For my starter I had buffalo mozarella, roasted cherry tomatoes (served 'on the vine') and sliced
avocado. This was very good. The tomatoes had a strong flavour, unlike supermarket ones. The
mozarella had a strong flavour. I had it served without olive oil, and adding my own salt - I like to
savour the taste of the mozarella that way.

For the main course I had a homemade long thick ribbed pasta with a chunky fresh wild mushroom
and artichoke sauce. This was sensational.

For pudding I forced down their tiramisu - I had no need for more food, but wanted to see if it was as
good as the earlier courses. It was.

The total bill for two, including starters, mains, puddings, two glasses of wine, water, soft drink,
service was £45.

Fabrizio's hasn't spent much on décor, and the downstairs area looks to be avoided, but the food
more than makes up for it. I think they are incredibly busy at lunchtimes, and much quieter in the
evenings. It's easily the best Italian meal I've had in London. How about we go there for a WWR
group outing?
