Review:

big novel all told in conversations. seems like a phoney try at russian masterpiece. or ironic. little
flashes of brilliance, and then pages of heavy handed semi-philosophical dialogues. wooden. sort of
readable. heroine is teenage girl which makes a change. rebecca west had love child with hg wells.
funny old musty time, who cares about hg wells anymore?
