On Vyner St. You walk into this funny little space which has someone sitting outside it (the artist??), and it feels somehow fresh and interesting after all the mausoleums dedicated to selling meretricious junk to rich folks. Described as "Alma Enterprises Gallery is proud to present Laura Parnes’ London premiere of ‘Janie 1978-1982’, a multimedia installation inspired by Kathy Acker’s seminal novel “Blood and Guts in High School”. Looked to me like some pretty boring photos of someone dressed up in various outfits, Madonna like. The films were more interesting, some people having relationships with special effects. My attention span didn't hold, but somehow it all seemed exciting and perhaps one could discover something. That I didn't might be my stupid fault.
