From: film reviews Category: Art Date: 11 October 2006 Time: 10:38 AM Review: An attempt at satire at about the level of childrens tv. M. Streep is the only strong element. The plot has no real tension: good looking bright boyfriended A. Hathway works for a difficult fashion editor, who really cares whether she gets fired or succeed. Hathway has no charm, and doesn't elicit sympathy. The fashion bitchiness doesn't make anyone unhappy, isn't cutting, isn't really nasty, isn't pernicious and soul destroying like real office politics. The guy from Entourage plays himself. The fashions don't look fashionable. A disappointment.
