Review:

I am enjoying this hefty tome, and am now half way through the stories. Should I carry on I
wonder, or stop now and call it the pentameron. The stories often have a moral, and though
they are funny and racey, I feel that I have cracked their code, so perhaps should retire on a
good note. Reading these short stories has made me wonder why I should bother reading
books at all and not just spend more time speaking to people and improving my golf handicap.
