From: art news cribbed from Guardian Category: Art Date: 27 August 2006 Time: 05:02 AM Review: http://arts.guardian.co.uk/flash/page/0,,1857617,00.html they're good publicists these stuckists. the show doesnt start till October 6 and already hitting the news and with a preview on the guardian site. their art looks like fifteenth rate derivative illustration of some art they like ( like pop art and chagall with a bit of cubism thrown in). I guess I shouldn't review it till have seen it in the flesh but if you put it up a month before your show opens, then you have to take what you get. A career in PR and advertisting beckons for Mr Thomson. Although you do have to admire their attacks on the cosy nepotism of the institutional commercial art nexus that runs British art.
