O looks like a man bored by what can be done, his paintings are not boring, just the artist is desperately searching for a way to be great like the old boys, and gets desperate when he cant. Perhaps I am wrong, O may be just another post-post painting trickster making half finished paintings. Whatever. He is bothered, he's not bothered, his paintings have a depressing feeling of boredom and knowingness, they are good in their way, but sad. If you saw an art show which was just plain good would you fall over?
