Review:

I started reading 'Woman of Rome' in Pizza Express in Jersey a few months after Donnie Brasco
came out. I thought it was jolly well written, and I became quite engrossed in the action. I remember
something about a priest being indiscrete with the young lady during her confession. It's a shame I did
not continue plugging away at this book ward would have been my due, I'm sure of it. I passed it on to
a friend in Paris who loved literature more than me, and probably still does. I find it hard to read
novels, though 'Single Man' made an indelible impression on me last month. I need to hear novels, not
just read them. Maybe, I've been spending too much time on my synaesthesia article.
