Review:

Finally got my hifi cd player amp speaker components combo working. Although all the bits are a decade old and likely to
suffer sudden death, the difference is startling, each note clear, bass deep, and sound three dimensional. I had become
used to the tinkly noise genrated by my computer, too lazy to move downloads to other formats, and the mini little stereos
are not much better. Listening to a proper hi fi classical music sounds loud even at low volumes, because of the crystal
clarity which shatters the summer heat fug and traffic mumble.

Last time when I had finally got my amp fixed, the cd player gave up the ghost, so fingers crossed that the second hand
replacement I got overpriced cheap from a junkie will hold out long enough to give me some transcendent joy. I even think
about listening to opera. Always a sign of madness or good hifi.
