Don't take a peek at the catalogue BEFORE you see the show as you will be massively disappointed and realise that you'll have to travel to Washington when the show moves there to see the rest of it. The Courtauld has lent only ONE painting. They forgot to ask The Barber Institute in Brum to borrow their painting. And who cares about all that ephemera in the form of documentation and posters that the Tate has filled the show out with. All that stuff is fine kept in the catalogue but it tells us nothing about PAINTINGS. Still a wonderful show of course.
