Buchloh is grasping, self-serving poseur, whose grasp of Conceptual Art is as wafer thin as his credentials as critic or art historian. His vapid, sub-Frankfurt School flounderings on the politically abject agenda of Oktober are mostly incoherent drivel, accurately reflecting his inadequate thought, his laziness and pretension. His desperate takes on Richter and Chermanness would be hilarious if they weren't so tedious. It was a huge relief for Chermany to unload this oily creep on Amerika, as it quietly reinforced the steady rise of Deutsch culture across the west. It's time he and Biesenbach were given a decent burial.
