The Labour Party are a joke, Manny. Any serious social programme they might once have held got shredded by Toady Blair. "The Third Way' - ha! Remember that? The TURD WAY was when you sell off the state's assets to rich backers and try and pretend that they ARE the state. This might prepare us for the stealthy eclipse of nation by corporation - the emergence of 'the new feudalism', talked of in some quarters, but it is a betrayal of any socialist, democratic or decent impulse. The devoted crypto-syndico-anarchist only votes for independents now in the hope of diffusing parties and factions. Failing that, I await the cricket season.
