Flowers has got a reputation for not being very good hasn't it. People don't review their shows because they don't go to them. At least I'd assumed that until I went to this 'Standing Room Only' show and was surprised by how many other visitors were there. Most of the work was bad and helped to cement for me the reason that this gallery has a bad rep. To focus on the positive there was/is a quite good one by Derek Boshier from the 80's, and a drawing by Jonathan Waller that stood out. Most of the pictures were up for £20,000 to £50,000, none were actually worth anything near that.
