redchurch st is now the centre of the unknown universe, boho capital of the world, single gear bikes riding beards in cutoff denim shorts with oversized sun glasses. Cope's show was full of such trendies with some other losers making up the numbers. Cope paints somethink like postmodern 80s paintings for our time, schnabel clemente even a bit of salle flash before your eyes, canvases are falling off their stretchers, are sloped, are ready to surprise. Trying too hard, yes no, any good, yes no, ugly beautiful, hard to tell. Fuck off hipsters I am craning for a look, perhaps.
