The important thing to know about Obama is that he kept the same financial people that were with Bush and before or should I say he was told to keep them. This is what all the bother is really about. Geitner and Summers did Greenspans dirty work on removing regulation - allowing the banks/hedge-funds to use credit default swaps and collateralised debt obligations and probably making sure a blind eye was turned to naked short selling so that gold could be controlled. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawrence_Summers#Summers.27_role_in_the_deregulation_of_derivatives_contracts
