Review

Go to Dulwich if only to see the huge vulgar villas of the rich, and the public school playing fields which I am sure don't give the kids an unfair advantage in life... The DPG is a nice little place, and crystal palace park down the road is fascinating, looks like the remains of a lost civilisation. The Wyeth family show is a nice concept, but too many mediocre paintings, Andrew, the famous one only gets it on when he can show every crack in a wall and paint with a sharpened toothpick, and then he sort of transcends illustration. The other members of the family should have looked more at Milton Avery and less at Norman Rockwell.
