BBC: Colleagues heap praise on David Laws after resignation.... The prime minister wrote in response to Mr Laws' resignation: "The last 24 hours must have been extraordinarily difficult and painful for you. "You are a good and honourable man...." Telegraph: Lord Ashdown said the revelations were a “personal tragedy” for Mr Laws, his successor as MP for Yeovil. He described Mr Laws as “Mr Integrity”.
