Cac the finchley road drop in centre for parents and toddlers has a reasonable show at last. Cruz struck down with illness for some years has made a fine comeback with her trademark crumpled canvases. They remind one of the crisis which painting seems to have forgotten. Maybe they are a bit samey but they have panache. The finchley road looks pretty decrepit these days while painting has thrown off its sorrows. Irony.
