i think the bad character jack plays is a kind of antihero. He murders bullies lies and attacks women. His primary appeal is in his fantastical ability to transgress social norms. He does what you shouldnt do. Now this only confirms that men think in reality misogyny is bad like murder like crime. Men are not really murderers or women haters but they do enjoy a non real character being these things. Weird in a way like why people enjoy horror films.
