So what does it reveal about these unappreciated Israeli opinions? I agree the problem is very complex. My guess is that most israelis are, unlike people in the many of their "ally" countries, not so stupid as to fail to see that before their massive military and apartheid operation took on the full force of today the secular party and "traitors to islam" like Arafat and his credibility-starved successor had a lot of growing support and that Israeli military occupational invading behaviour has wiped that support out and Palestine in all quarters is becoming absurdly pro-Hamas, whose only fault is that they fight genocide with genocide, albeit at a very "unimpressive" (to israeli/US strategists) ratio.
