Well I'm down with the programme but this stuff still looks tepid. Which just goes to show that good politics does not equal good art nor, conversely, (and in particular in regard to the preceding review of Sarcevic) do bad politics (more correctly, ethics there) necessarily exclude good art. Although this is not to say I thought much of Mr Bojanglesevich. But think a royalist lap dog like Chardin, a reactionary bourgeois like Cezanne or Degas - zee politiks they are there, but zee art she transcends...) Still, re:Between Bridges - that Tillmans, he connected, no?
