Big show, small impact. The photorealists are the most interesting, a beige cheap jacketed vodka queue a highlight. The rest is rehashes, feeble conceptual painting highlighting how the original western version is far superior to this ersatz posturing. One liners abound. Haunch is selling back history painting to rich russians I guess who are main beneficiaries of the collapse of communism depicted. Ironic, huh.
