http://www.marlboroughfineart.com/ This is a weird show. The labels next to the paintings make it look bad. And you walk in and you think this must be some old guy painting, who's got a little life left in him but is basically conservative. And then you read the bio and it's a young guy painting on sort of photos, and they are quite weird really, and sort of entrancing. And the gallery is a big old famous rich gallery and yet why don't they present things better, they have a little stand for you to flick through prints like at a degree show. Maybe they don't care about that stuff, which could be good. A mystery.
