good to see childish showing here. A victory for eccentrics and outsiders which are somewhat patronising terms for those not as patronised by the rich and powerfulas others. Billys poems were the highlight for me. Funny demotic bold and unafraid of 20th century hubris. His paintings are not terrible just not filled with great life like he must be. Predictably the coffee drinkers spent more time with the ephemera rather than doing the hard work of looking at paintings.
